Le Centre Dance Ensemble is the offical dance company of Jo-Ann's Dance Studio-The Performing Arts Centre.

Founded in 1986, it is one of the most established student dance companies in New Jersey. The ensemble has 25 members, ages 13-18, who are selected to join the company through an invitation-only audition process.

Under the artistic direction of Tara Faulkner-Catalina, who also provides choreography for its award-winning performances, the company has trained performers who have moved on to join prestigious programs with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and the Dance Theatre of Harlem, among other companies, as well as at major universities nationwide.

Le Centre is completely self-supporting through fundraisers and contributions. Its student members have both hosted and atended numerous workshops, have performed in cultural programs, and have presented many of their own works at various theatres in the area including a series of performances at the New Jersey Perfroming Arts Center - NJPAC and a benefit performance for National Autism Awareness Month.
